Wife to Go
— Frank Cristiani —
Sebastian had been obsessed with Gabriela since the first time he saw her at the small restaurant where she worked. She was stunning, an angelic face, soft and modest, with the kind of gentle curves that made his heart race. He went there every day, trying to talk to her, but she always kept things polite and just serviced him his food.
Then he found something that changed everything.
An old hypnosis technique, ccomments saying they had been happily together with their girlfriends and boyfriends for years already, Sebastian practiced until he mastered it. One evening, just before closing, he sat at his usual table. When Gabriela came to take his order, he made the hand movements and whispered the command:
“You shall love me, want me, need me, desire me… until you are no longer my girlfriend.”
Gabriela stayed still, then she blinked and smiled at him with genuine warmth for the first time. “What is my favorite customer having today?” She asked with the most joy and sympathy she had talked to Sebastian ever. “How about a date? You like movies?” Gabriela blushed and smiled at him “My shift ends in 30”
That same night they went to the movies. Later, back at her apartment, they made love for the first time.
It was slow and tender. Sebastian treated her body like something sacred. He kissed every inch of her skin as if discovering it for the first time, and Gabriela responded with soft gasps and shy smiles.
When he finally entered her, she held onto him tightly, whispering his name like a prayer.
They moved together slowly, exploring each other with wonder and affection until they both came, clinging to one another in the quiet afterglow.
From that night on, they were inseparable.
Sebastian proposed a year later, and Gabriela cried with happiness, immediately calling her parents to share the news.
The wedding day was perfect.
She looked breathtaking in her white dress. When the priest said, “You may kiss the bride,” Sebastian pulled her in and kissed her deeply in front of everyone. The church erupted in applause.
Gabriela smiled at first… then something shifted.
She pulled back slightly, looking at Sebastian with confusion. Her eyes moved across the guests, her parents, her sister, and then down at herself, at the wedding dress she was wearing.
“What…?” she whispered. “What is going on?”
She took a step back, then another. The joy on her face was gone, replaced by growing panic and anger.
Sebastian reached for her. “Gabriela?”
She shook her head, eyes wide with fear and betrayal.
“Don’t touch me.”
She turned and walked straight to her parents, who looked equally confused. Without another word, she left the church with them, still in her wedding dress.
Sebastian stood alone at the altar, the applause long gone, realization slowly sinking in.
He had been so focused on making the hypnosis work that he never finished reading the full instructions.
The command only lasted until they were no longer boyfriend and girlfriend.
Now they were husband and wife.
And Gabriela was gone.
